Groups that use the HIVE typically have full access to the whole facility. Restroom passes are at the reception desk because we use the restrooms in the hotel lobby. The side rooms are available for separate reservations on weekdays if that's all you need. The HIVE is built for teenagers, not children, but we can accomodate pre-teen groups (ages 10-12). Players must be at least as tall as a pool stick to play pool, for example. The microphones, Arc Cycle and video game equipment are not for children either.

The HIVE has security cameras but we count heads and ask everyone to sign the insurance waiver at the reception desk. You get about 10 minutes to load-in/load-out before and after your event. We have an elevator but you need to request access beforehand because it's in a secured area.

Free Party resources: high-wattage microwave, small buffet table, cake knife & server, hot & cold filtered water, lighter for candles.

Pay before you leave. The basic rate for teenagers and adults is $1 per person, per hour. For all those under 13 the rate is $5/ea/hr. The HIVE is not safe for groups of children under age 10. However, a few small children can attend parties with older groups if you provide a babysitter for each child. If certain guests leave the party more than an hour early or they arrive over an hour late, you can ask them to denote that on the sign-in sheet if you wish.

Fundraisers for Non-Profit Organizations
Your 1-3 hour fundraising event can be hosted in the Hive. We ask for 15%.

Base Price for Rentals		What's Included?
Minimum $15 per event on weekdays before 6PM		All non-computerized games such as board game, table game, crafts, acting scripts, musical instruments, slot cars and exercise games. Access every side room (tunnel, quiet room, movie theater & craft room). Round cake stand, lighter, hot/cold water, microwave, extra food table.
Minimum $25 per event on evenings & weekends
Assuming the above minimums are met, use this formula to calculate the base cost of your gathering.

Bring Your Own Picnic Party $0
Bring your own cake, plates, cups, deocrations, food and drink. Share some with HIVE staff and leave us the leftovers (as a donation to needy youth.) Use this Party when booking non-celebratory gatherings, too.
Snacks, Pizza & Popcorn Party  +$25 (for groups less than 20)
Bring your own cake, plates & decorations but no additional food. Enjoy our low-priced self-serve snack bar, enough (2-4) hot pepperoni pizzas (cooked sequntially in our countertop pizza oven) and bottomless fresh popcorn from the popper.
Optional Entertainment Extras (choose only one)

Gamer Gauntlet +$175 (Ages 13+)	• Two fully-charged MetaQuest3s • Forza Horizon 5 Driving Simulator on Xbox • Retro video games on an Ibook G3. Players will be encouraged to rotate play and take turns every 10-15 minutes.
Medieval Tournament   +$195		Participants must be at least 10 years old
• Optional items: Cake stand, cupcake castle (holder), dragon cupcake toothpicks, lighter, candles & medieval table runners
• Tournament Ping-Pong Two players must keep the ball in play for 4 bounces before a mistake is made. The person who didn't make the mistake earns a point. A player must acquire 5 points to win. The winner continues to play challengers and must beat 2 challengers to win the tournament. • Tournament Fooseball Two players compete normally on each game table. The winners play challengers until someone has won a total of 3 games. The winners play each other in a final round. • Tournament Basketball Players toss balls into the baskets for 30 seconds. The one who baskets the most balls is the winner of that game. The winner plays challengers. Winning a total of 3 games wins the tournament.
• Feudal Wars at the King's Table An original large group card game (7-16 players) where players achieve positions of royalty, nobility, knighthood, tradesmen or pesantry with riches to go with them. Game lasts for an hour or approximately 3 battles.
All game winning earns HIVE coins to spend on snacks or the HIVE Shop.
